I’m 33 and my facial hair has changed a lot recently. In my 20s, I used to shave every 3–4 days, it grew in softer, and one pass was enough — I was really happy with it overall.

This year though, it’s completely different. The hair feels much thicker and coarser, grows back really fast, and I often need to shave twice just to get a clean result. After only 2 days, it already looks quite long. But if I try to shave daily, my skin gets irritated — I end up with red spots and even some bleeding.

For context, I’m not especially hairy, my hair is light brown and have looks on the younger side.

Has anyone else experienced something like this in their 30s? Any tips on managing it? I’m even starting to consider laser just to reduce the thickness.
