So I 23f have a rec sports team I’m on and we are currently at the halfway mark. I’m starting to feel like there might be some chemistry between me and another guy (although feel free to tell me if I’m dreaming lol). Plus, I think he’s cute hehe.
He’s gone out of his way to give me high fives, ask if I’m okay if I get hit, very smiley as well, etc. This is probably normal, but I don’t really talk to guys in any capacity and no other guy has done this, so it’s throwing me off. When the game ended and we were walking off, I built up the courage to ask him what his name was and formally introduce myself and (“what’s your name? My name is blah blah, nice to meet you”).
Should I wait till the last game or time I see him to ask him out, so things don’t get weird if he is dating someone or isn’t interested? Am I overthinking this? I just ask because we are in a large group setting that would make things awkward if for example, his gf is playing with us and I’m unaware lol. Any advice appreciated!
