  1. I am on sick leave and I wish I wasn‘t ill because its spring and therefore gardening time!
    At least I managed yesterday to put out some seeds for beefriendly flowers. Hope they turn out fine.

  2. Today I had lunch with a close friend from America at the restaurant I mentioned yesterday. They added kebab to the menu, so that’s what my friend got, and it turned out to be really good.

    My skin infection is completely gone now, but I’m still tired.

    I’ve never had a Guinness before, I’m going to have my first one on Saturday. I will go with my grandfather to some Opera/classical music thing.

  3. The production of Kaija Saariaho’s opera Innocence has reached the New York Metropolitan Opera, apparently. It’s interesting to see what local reviews say of it, considering its subject matter being a school shooting, something that’s unfortunately very familiar to Americans, but also it’s portrayal of contemporary Europe, something they might be less familiar with. They’ll probably come out of it with slightly different thoughts, see different things.

    I hope to see it again some day. Not going to fly to New York for it, though.

  4. I saw a YouTube thumbnail with “the most disturbing book you’ll ever read”, went “say no more” and bought the book. I even bought a physical copy because the cover is pink and it’s a small book. The title is No Longer Human and it’s written by a Japanese dude I’ve never heard of. I don’t know what it’s about, either. Was I clickbaited? I didn’t even click on the thumbnail, so I guess not.
