Tinder's "Photo Verified" badge is basically useless.

These aren't AI-generated fake people. Scammers steal real photos from real people, build a profile, move you to WhatsApp, and push crypto "investments." Classic pig butchering.

Here's the kicker: Tinder only requires **one photo out of nine** to match your face for a verified badge. Scammers slip in one manipulated photo of their own face to pass the check, and the other eight can be fully stolen. Badge granted.

A creator tested this himself using low-quality AI/Photoshopped selfies. Tinder and Hinge both failed. Bumble actually removed the non-matching photos automatically, which is at least something.

The badge isn't protecting anyone. It's just making scam profiles look trustworthy.
