If someone you know has a house or apartment with a door reinforced with steel or composite core, fire-rated and soundproof, multi-point locking systems (several bolts engage at once), high-security cylinders (hard to pick or bump), drill protection and anti-snap features… Would that be a baseline where you just shrug and thing ”well, that’s what a normal modern door is” or would you think ”that must have been an expensive optional addition, I wonder why they chose that?”. Or any other thought of that’s a false dichotomy.
