Me and my American boyfriend are planning to get married sometime next year and we began discussing wedding dates and plans. There is something that I find it a little uncomfortable to ask him, therefore I need your help to tell me what is expected in American culture in this situation.
In the culture I come from usually the groom pays for the wedding dress of the bride, but I’m not sure how does it work in the states? And who usually covers the wedding expenses if we plan to have only a tiny celebration with our immediate families?
