  1. I watched the Italy football match yesterday, another very poor performance and Italy are not going to be in the finals this year.

    European qualifying is very tough, and Bosnia are a good team,so it wasn’t unexpected.Italy just don’t have the players, nor the right coach.

    They need a radical change to the system but there are too many vested interests here for that, the national team is absolutely not helped by the club teams or the state.

    The ‘small’ countries are getting better and better.Kosovo nearly qualified for the finals, and they have only existed for a few years.

    The ‘big’ countries that are still successful either have excellent pathways from the youth system (eg Spain) or very high percentage of African origin players (France, England) which is a huge advantage in modern football.. Italy has neither of these.

  2. There’s a live thread about the most famous romantic composers from your country… I don’t know if the Germans aren’t awake yet or they just didn’t bother because, well… but I guess it’s not my place to answer on their behalf 😅 I guess one will show up eventually.

    I need to do some shopping today or tomorrow because there’s a long weekend coming up, and I also realized that my birthday is a free day. I hope I can go today because tomorrow will be chaos.

    Speaking of shopping, I was talking about my favorite Ukrainian art supply brand launching a new gouache line, and how I shouldn’t buy any… I failed 🙈 big time. I am hopeless.

  3. I managed to pick up a skin infection from my martial arts training, and I still need to do some Easter shopping for people 🙁
