So I asked him if texting him every day was too much. Keep in mind, it’s usually just a simple “good morning” and maybe a quick five minute conversation before I leave him alone for the rest of the day, especially since he’s kind of a dry texter but great in person. He said, “Yeah, to be honest.”
I completely understand that everyone has different communication styles, especially early on in dating. At the same time, I feel like if you’re trying to get to know someone, especially when you’re open about dating, a quick five minute exchange each day shouldn’t be overwhelming. I'm not texting him all day everyday. But maybe that’s just me, because I know some people are fine going days without texting in the early stages.
I did ask the question and now I know his communication style.
What do you guys think? I'm a little annoyed but trying to be understanding. I'm putting the ball back in his court now.
