What has people’s experiences been like with CitySwoon? I’ve (33M) gone to maybe my fourth event with the service in the last 12 months and while it has been good practice talking to women in date settings, I just keep going and am paired up with perfectly pleasant women and tend to have good chats with but I’m just not attracted to most and both me and them just tend to mark each others as friends. The times I have marked someone high and matched with them most usually never respond to the follow up message asking them out except for the one who agreed to the date and then canceled a few hours before and never rescheduled. Honestly just having the friendly conversations last night with someone who’s nice but I’m just not drawn to is somehow just as draining as that cancellation incident. I just feel so close to making a breakthrough with dating and CitySwoon is better than other speed events I’ve tried but I’m not seeing the success that the testimonials talk about.
Really feeling like I should just be alone for a while… in a good way, but it’s hard to let go of the hope for love with another!
