Hey men, so I “rediscovered” briefs (and yeah, they’re just your basic tighty whities) late last year after wearing boxers or boxer briefs for most of my life.
I find myself wearing briefs more often with my primary hesitation being the social stigma we’re all probably aware of (nerdy, old man underwear, not stylish, etc). I’ve found that I like the support, I like having my thighs freed up, and I think they’re comfortable. At 34, I just don’t have it in me to care as much what other people think at this point but the cultural discourse is still there.
So I’m wondering, for those who stopped wearing classic briefs, would you have continued to wear them or be more likely to wear them again if there wasn’t the stigma?
