my (very few) friends and i don't share the same interests and hobbies, and i'm going to a nerd/cosplay party for the first time, all by myself. it got me wondering how extroverted people usually handle these environments.
do you ever have to go by yourself? if so, how do you survive?
when you see someone with a cool cosplay or someone interesting, how do you normally start the interaction?
is it just compliments, asking for pictures, or something more creative?
i'm curious what your default approach tends to be in these settings.
