I'm used to hearing about prison in a very negative context. You're being detained long term and you have little free will to exercise. Not to mention the potential violent instances you could get into. I was surprised when my SILs partner spoke positively about his experience. He didn't get into any difficulties and being on a routine gave him stability that he had never had before. He did just over a year and has gone on to stick to a routine and turn his life around. I was just wondering what other positive stories are out there. Personally I'm terrified of going to prison, not that it's something I even need to worry about.
