So as the title suggests currently I 23M have a friend 23F and I am trying to figure out what level of feelings/interest she has in me.
Context
We met on campus at a club and slowly started to become friends over the course of about two months. We’ve exchanged phone numbers and socials and conversation seemed pretty good both in person and over text. Most of our topics of discussion revolved around things I wouldn’t typically discuss with someone who I didn’t at least trust ie. Emotional personal stories from both of us, hobbies/interests, and even some things leaning towards relationships and intimacy (such as what we prefer in a partner/shitty ex stories and preferences in bed). We also went and hung out one on one. We went and shopped around and got some food it was pretty smooth all things considered. Finally we had a super fun phone call where we were up until odd hours talking and laughing and just having a good time. These is also a level of physical contact between us like hugging and she’ll like hit me jokingly and stuff or grab onto me if she’s laughing. To be clear, it doesn’t seem like a thing she only does with me, but definitely only with people she likes or trust.
Now here’s my current situation. After that call (about 4 days ago) communication has definitely slowed down. We text less and it feels like she’s m taken a step back. To be fair a couple of things like finals week and her night time habits like reading might be taking up some of her mental space. However maybe twice or three times now I’ll ask a question and it’ll be “ignored” or missed idk which one. She still DMs me videos pretty consistently and if I text her I know she’ll reply. However idk if she’s just being chill and friendly or if she’s into me. Let me know what y’all think.
Also, if you’re wondering what I want from this relationship, I think I’ve been low-key lying to myself saying that I’m not really into her or anything but I think I figured out that that isn’t entirely true anymore. I think she definitely has one of the prettiest voices I’ve ever heard and we get along incredibly well. It’s kind of impossible to ignore.
