Been thinking about this a lot lately and curious what others think.

What if instead of swiping and texting forever, a dating app let you read through someone's actual written bio — like prompt based answers that gave you a real sense of who they are — and if you were both interested in meeting, the app would invite you both to a local event where other matched couples are also showing up.

No pressure one on one first date energy. Just a casual setting where you already know at least one person there is someone you matched with.

The idea being that it cuts out the swiping fatigue and the endless texting phase that never seems to go anywhere, and just gets people into the same room faster.

Would something like that actually change how you approach meeting someone from an app? Or do you think people still wouldn't show up?

Genuinely curious because I feel like the current system is broken but maybe I'm wrong. Here's the idea if you want to learn more meetly.love
