Hi all,

This might sound a bit morbid, but it has been on my mind recently. My partner and I have an indoor cat who is very dependent on us, and we have no family in the UK.

If both of us were to suddenly pass away, for example in an accident, how quickly would someone realistically come to check on our pet?

My main worry is that our cat could be left alone and starve before anyone notices.

I know wills and pet alert cards exist, but I am more worried about how quickly someone would actually come, as there could be a period where no one realises anything is wrong.

Do people here have any emergency plans for their pets?

Thanks in advance for any advice.
