Are the people around you at the same level?
For example:
"I didn't speak any English until I was about 14 years old. I learned it at school. Today I'm at a B2 level. I think most people around me can relate."
Or:
"I've always spoken English because I had one parent who spoke English, but most people here don't speak any English."
