Is it rude for me to not go to family gatherings, like Thanksgiving or Christmas? 17f, I haven't been to a family gathering in like 2 years because of how nervous and anxious I get just anticipating and thinking about it, having to be around everyone.
And when my parent's tell me that my other family members wanted to see me and I didn't go, I feel horrible and guilty. Especially during Christmas when I wouldn't go and then my parent's would bring back gifts that the others had gotten me.
