This is a bit of a strange question! I went out to dinner tonight with my husband (at a bbq restaurant in the US) and we decided to get dessert to go. A while after we got home we took the desserts out, the first one, chocolate pie, was so good! The second, an apple crisp, was basically inedible. It tasted like someone mixed up the chili powder and cinnamon? The dessert cost $12 each. Would it be appropriate to return the inedible dessert tomorrow to exchange for another? I have seen lots of social media posts in my community where restaurant goers are slamming restaurants publicly for things like this — and that’s not something I will do, but I do feel a bit disappointed to have spent money on an inedible dessert. Should I bring it back?
