there are some Australian Canadian, European shows and entertainment franchises featuring American protagonists like the cowboy Lucky Luke (produced in Belgium) which was a hit in Europe and francophone African countries, also there is some anime about American people and British people.
I was surprised when I found out Ed, Edd and eddy was Canadian TV show because it is about Americans
