I’m so confused. It seems that almost every individual in the UK randomly just hates the police? Why? Makes no sense to me
People use horrible words to describe them such as pigs and then raise their children to say the same. Why are people raising children to hate the people that they actually should be able to rely on? Probably a reason a lot of people are scared to report crimes as they are taught by others to hate police, not to trust them ect.
I have been in public and a police car or officers walk/drive by and people mostly bad teethed men in tracksuits will start swearing at them and shouting. It’s unbelievably embarrassing to witness. Especially since people treat the police like this but then would expect their help if they needed it.
I’ve seen photos of police officers buying lunch and the comments attacking them for buying lunch? Soo everyone is entitled to food but not police officers? I’ve seen videos of them being beaten up while the public stands there and just records on their phone. It’s just ridiculous
I know obviously the system isn’t amazing, people are treated bad ect but that’s the same in every single profession. Some are bad some arnt. For example after Lucy letby why isn’t everyone assuming all nurses are bad? Yet 1 thing goes viral about a police officer and everyone can’t wait to jump on the bandwagon about how crap the police are
They are ordinary people who have families and are leaving them at home to go and help people. So why the hate? A lot of them really will just want to make a difference in the world but automatically discriminated against just because they are a police officer
Obviously I could be completely wrong and every single police officer in the UK could trash. I’m just a normal person who lives a quiet life so never had to deal with them. But then so are a lot of my family snf friends yet they call the police pigs despite never even personally meeting an officer.
Everyone in entitled to their opinion and I’m not saying we should love the police ect. I’m just voicing my opinion and look forward to hearing others so I might be able to understand where all of this stems from
