Not much to say but I’ve lost 5kg this month and so happy about my progress!! Just lots of hard work, sweat and early mornings, early bed times, lots of running, being consistent.
On rest days I’ll stay up late night for sure, maybe watch Netflix or movies, I in no way enjoy early mornings but it’s a necessity.
Other than that I’m learning to eat more clean and be conscious of what I eat. One small donut could be 200 calories for example or a packet of crisps could be 1000, they are addicting and you finish it so fast. I need some recipes hehe.
Why are people watching figure skating because it’s beautiful and relaxing and I am all sweaty palms and panic attack? Anyhow, it was a lovely free skate, and I am so glad to see athletes who are happy and supportive of each other rather than young girls who look dead on the inside, winning gold medals with noone to celebrate with because their teammates are having a meltdown over a fourth place.
Today I need to get my cat into the carrier and to the vet’s. I hate it. If it was the small cat, okay, but this is the big ninja cat. The moment he understands he’ll have to go in the carrier, he will go hide somewhere and then it’s impossible to get him out.
Tests prior to the upcoming Formula 1 season have been going on in Barcelona and Bahrain, which has been getting extra attention this year because it’s the first year of a pretty major change in the formula, both when it comes to the car and engine. The teams have an incentive to mask how fast their cars actually are, because as soon as the grid figures out who the fastest ones are they’ll start to copy those designs and ideas and eventually as time goes on performance gaps between teams will get narrower. So if you are the best now, keeping it on the down low now means you’ll be able to enjoy that for the longest time possible. At least in theory.
This leads to the situation where almost every team is constantly saying how the other teams are doing so good and are looking unbeatable. Reading and listening to the comments made by senior team personnel is like listening to teenagers trying to fish compliments from each other by putting themselves down, lmao, it’s so funny.
