Please tell me you don’t eat dry toast
Edit:
Thanks for your responses! ☺️
Brits love butter and we always put it on toast even if we are having something else on it (jam, marmalade, marmite etc) we are the same with sandwiches always butter with or without a condiment so it made me wander what you guys did with toast. I love comparing our foods and how we do things differently.

I don’t often eat toast, but if I do it’s with butter and scrambled eggs on top most likely.
Sometimes peanut butter (with banana slices!). Sometimes jam.
I cant say I’ve seen plain dry toast.

Butter. Why would you think we eat dry toast?
Butter and jelly, or peanut butter and honey. If I’m eating eggs, they go on the toast too.
Peanut butter and bananas like any normal person. We’re not all animals
I like butter, jelly, peanut butter/honey, or Nutella if I want to get a little wild.

The best toast is butter dusted with cinnamon and sugar.

Usually just butter, sometimes jam or jelly, or honey, sometimes butter, sugar, and cinnamon. On occassion I’ll put a fried egg on it. I don’t think there’s many people out there that eat it dry.
Oh wait, as a Millennial, scratch all that, I put avacado on my toast, and that’s why I’m poor.

You think Americans eat dry toast? What lmao
Margarine & a fruit spread
Butter and strawberry jam
Thin layer of butter. Thin enough that it melts almost instantly on the hot toast.
I don’t mean to brag, I don’t mean to boast, but I like hot butter on my breakfast toast!
Butter, Jelly/Jam, Avocado, Peanut or Almond Butter.
The only time i dont put butter on toast is if im putting something else really fatty on it, like avocado toast or peanut butter toast. I know some people still butter both of those eveb, but it seems like overkill. The main butter vs. No butter debate with America and Europe seems to be sandwiches, which Americans rarely butter.
Butter and/or jam

We don’t eat dry toast.
Butter. Lots and lots of it. But we toast our bread to a golden brown. The Brits I know that live here pretty much make warm crunchy bread, hardly any color to it? Is it just them or is that common in the UK?
Butter or peanut butter. Fun fact: I hate mayo, so after I learned that Brits use butter on sandwiches I tried it and that’s how do it now.
