So I met this man at a Christmas party. I went and sat with a friend at a table and that’s where I met him. He was actually really kind and we started conversation. He kept asking questions about myself and I didn’t mind. I assumed he didn’t exactly like me, just being nice. He and his friend walked me back to my car and that was that. A month later he followed me on both Instagram and Facebook at the same time (assuming he found my IG off my Facebook). Then a couple of weeks past, we past each other at work …we didn’t realize it was each other until after the fact. So he texted me on Facebook asking if that was me and I responded saying yes. He kept talking to me, asking how I was doing and I didn’t think nothing of it until he told me if I had nothing to do that I could reach out and we could hang out sometime…like watch a movie or go bowling, etc. He told me yesterday that if I had nothing to do the next day, I could reach out. I just said “ok cool”…I was not indicating at all that I actually wanted to.
The next day is here and I in fact don’t have anything to do but I don’t want to hang out with him like that…I’m starting to assume he likes me and he thinks I like him, but I don’t and I don’t wanna create that chemistry that he thinks is going to happen. He’s nice but he’s not really my type and he has two kids….very uninterested. He’s just asked me how my day was today and I still haven’t responded because I know if I do he’s gonna ask if I wanna hang out and I don’t know how to just say no in a kind way.
