Throughout my life I've seen a lot of movies/seasons where a student would say they have a paper due or multiple papers due like I have a Geography paper due next week etc.
What is that exactly? Is it an essay on a given topic? Is it written like a scientific paper as you would for a journal? What is the usual length, what are the usual sections, does it need to include some new ideas, is it research oriented, or it needs to answer some specific questions from the text book, or it's more creative like argue some ideas?
It'd be great if someone can actually share a paper they wrote or a link to some examples.
