I got Comment te dire adieu by Françoise Hardy playing in my head. I’m always surprised by the fact that It Hurts to Say Goodbye, the English version, is the original composition. I feel like a lot of the time it’s the other way around for some reason with songs like these. Like, it just sounds like a French song.
So, I guess technically I don’t have Comment te dire adieu playing in my head, since it’s just the melody that’s in there. I have It Hurts to Say Goodbye playing in my head.
Today’s destination was Kula. I hadn’t been to this inner Aegean region before. It’s quite different to the coastal parts but it has its own beauty and charm. The region is very fertile. There’s a lot of production for grapes (mainly for raisins), olives and sesame. We went to see the [fairy chimneys and volcanic park](https://imgur.com/a/bxF4Tbc). It was so beautiful, almost like Cappadocia. On the way back we had some delicious pide, including a dessert pide with local tahini and sugar to share which was super rich but so good. Kula is a cute little town, I liked it a lot. It was 20 degrees and partially cloudy.
Tomorrow we’re flying back. I’m not looking forward to my ass freezing.
There has been rainfall in my town for something like 26 days in a row now, and it’s so depressing. The sky is a dull shade of grey, and according to the forecast there’s no end in sight.
