This Australian has a, pointless and probably bizarre, habit of watching ‘to let’ videos of New York apartments particularly in Manhattan. They are so lovely and make my 70’s apartment at Gold Coast seem so boring and dated. My question is the bedrooms all seem so small. The majority of them of them appear they’d fit a single bed. Most Australians own a Queen size bed. I don’t. I only have a Double size. In these NY apartments though would even that fit? What about extras such as chair or drawers?
