Which “corner” of the US is the most beautiful in your opinion?

  1. I’m definitely biased, but I’ve been all over the country and Appalachia will always be my favorite. I love the wooded mountains. Beautiful both from afar and in the middle of them.

  2. I was born in the Midwest, near Chicago. I’ve lived in New England for the past 22 years. I’ve traveled all over the country, visiting 42 states. Without question, the Pacific Northwest is the most beautiful part of the country.

  3. If you live in Sand, you’ll think greenery is beautiful. If you live in greenery you’ll think sand is beautiful.
If you live in snow, you’ll think the sunlight is beautiful. If you live in sunshine you’ll think snow is beautiful.

The grass is always greener across the fence.

  4. The west. Give me ruggedness over a bunch of trees and/or beaches 100% of the time

  5. Grew up east coast, been all around the country, absolutely the PNW during the late spring and summer.

I mean, I don’t mind the rain, so I like it there year round, but the sunny season is just amazing.

  6. I’m a SoCal by birth, Southerner by heritage, and have lived happily in New England for two decades… And i agree with everyone saying PNW. No contest.

  7. The PNW….but the stretch of Pacific Coast from Astoria, OR to Pismo Beach, CA is my overall favorite in the lower 48!

  8. I am from the PNW, and everyone who is saying PNW is correct. We are the most beautiful and we know it. But I think the rest of the country is beautiful, too

Additionally, “corners” of the US is kind of a weird distinction. Does the NW corner extend all the way to North Dakota, or…?

  9. I’ve been to all 50 states, and I’ll say New England. The PNW is a close second though, and is probably more concentrated beauty, but something about the integration of New England development with the natural environment takes the cake for me, especially in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. I’ve been to pretty much every major national park in this country and Acadia is near the top. Awesome place!

  10. Gimme the 4 corners, thats 4 corners for the price of 1. And lots of amazing canyons in every direction.

  11. I haven’t seen much of my own country but the most beautiful areas I’ve been to have been Northern California and Southern Oregon. The Appalachian Trail is breathtaking as well.

  12. New England has a couple of weeks of peak fall foliage. I’ve sailed the San Juans and Downeast Maine. The Maine coast is more scenic. There’s nothing like the Cape Cod National Seashore in the Northwest.

    Otherwise, it’s the Pacific Northwest

  13. Southwest. Sunsets, wide open deserts of nothing but sand, cacti and shrubs. Random mesas, steppes and canyons carving its way through. Huge mountains rising up out of the deaert floor. It’s beautiful.

  14. Aw gosh you guys, all of these votes for the PNW are going to make me cry 💖 There is genuinely so much beauty in every single state, and every single region. But the Pacific Northwest has my vote too. The diverse nature out here has always made me feel like I live in some kind of fairytale. But I still think everyone needs to see the nature nationwide and appreciate it more (especially the SW!).

  15. I love New England, it’s got beaches, mountains, forests, fields, farms, and cities. All within a doable drive of each other.

  16. Alaska is the most beautiful place I have ever been. I think Virgina and West Virginia are also beautiful state. Maine is gorgeous. Parts of California are stunning The Grand Tetons are stunning. The Grand Canyon. We have so many beautiful National and state parks that are just stunning. I also love the PNW. We have such a varied country.
