I personally have sleep issues that go back 20 years. I won't go into details but they dont align with any easy diagnosis.
The more I talk with people, the more I find out I am not the exception. Family, friends, etc. all have similar issues. Not everyone, but a LOT of people think waking up during the night multiple times is normal and acceptable. That waking up at 330 or 4am and being wide awake is normal and acceptable. That only sleeping 5-6 hours is.
Obviously some people can get by on less sleep, but it's inversely correlated with overall health and longevity.
How many people do you know who are sleeping like crap for no easily identified reason?
