I have been living in Mississippi and hold a license from there. I am planning to buy a used car but it feels so tricky so I need a bit of your guidance!
Let’s hypothesize that I am buying a car from Texas. As far as I understand I have to pay registration fees and an amount of sales tax based on the purchase amount. Do I pay this tax and fees to MS where I reside in and hold a license from or TX, where I purchased the car from?
