Met a girl about a year older than me in college, we did projects for the class together (class was brutal btw), and got to know eachother a little better. She’s really funny, and I liked her vibe a lot. We exchanged numbers, added eachother on snap, etc. Talked for a while, she always complimented me, and I did the same, then she graduated. She’s still in the town, “for the forseeable future” (her words), so I tried asking her out, I had got tickets to a hockey game for free, and asked her to go with me, she said no, because she had work and would only get 3-ish hours of sleep if she went (She works at a coffee place and they open way early). That seemed fair to me, and our conversations haven’t changed much, still positive, playful banter kind of thing. So I don’t know if I should try to ask her out again, or if there’s a hint I’m not taking.

I’m not very experienced with dating, so any feedback is helpful.
