I know this may seem like an obvious answer, just ask. But we went out about 2 weeks ago, 3 days after starting to talk. Still in talking phase and we might be going out this weekend although we’ve never said it’s a date before. I feel like I should ask if it’s a date at this point. Do say it like “Hey would you want to go out on a date this weekend?” Or like “Just so we’re on the same page, is this a date or just hanging out”. The problem with the latter is that they may take it as if I’m being cautious and not actually that interested and I’m just checking. But asking to go out on a date sounds a bit more official if you know what I mean. Been overthinking this for a few days now
