I was talking to a family member. They were in the middle of something loud so I repeated myself twice because they couldn't hear me then I waited until it was quieter, about 10 seconds. They didn't say anything so i asked, "do you have no idea what I just said?" Then they paused and said yes. I said it again loud slow and clear then they just ignored me and started talking about something else.
I was just telling them there was sun out today since they were saying it was sunny where they work. They work an hour away, I work 10 minutes from home so the weather is different and they ask about it sometimes.
I genuinely don't know what I did wrong and why a normal conversation gets so awkward and frustrating. Its not uncommon, its actually more uncommon to just have a normal conversation. I need some advice.
