I live abroad and won't be returning to the UK for the funeral. And I've been fortunate in not needing to know this stuff before. If I phone a florist local to the funeral, how much notice will they need, roughly? (The funeral arrangements are pending on, we think, a post mortem; everything has been on hold because of Christmas and it's all a bit of a muddle.) Will they be able to sort out transport of the flowers to the church? What else do I need to know?
