I have a friend who i meet fairly regularly at a group function and over time we have developed a friendship where we can confide in each other certain troubles as well as dive into deeper topics like dating troubles and friendship issues. However most of this kind of interaction happens over text and I much prefer a face to face chit chat.
But whenever I bring up the topic of meeting up in person so we can have a comfortable chitchat, she is always busy with something and won't try to reschedule/make the get together happen.
Should I mention that I'm feeling hurt that we have this distance between us and ask why she doesn't want to meet face to face or should I just accept that the relationship is going to be mainly limited to text and voice messages?
P.S I've asked her out to go on a date once before and she wasn't interested. This was about 6 months ago and I've respected her decision and haven't tried asking her out on a date ever since. I feel like our relationship have moved pass this topic so I'm not sure what's going on.
TL;DR A friend keeps rejecting meeting up and its hurting my feelings.
