I’m back from yesterday lol a quick refresher- me and a guy have been talking on and off for about a month reconnecting. We don’t live in the same place and are on different time zones. I thought he was ghosting yesterday. He ended up responding just now. How do you know if anything should be pursued when something is long distance? Do people keep the door open for long distance connections? I have the mentality that anything can happen in life, so as long as I’m single the door can be open. But I don’t know what’s giving too much hope and what’s something that should be a simple “no”?? There’s been a couple times when I stop replying because I feel that the conversation is dead, he messages again a day or two later. What does this mean? I can’t tell the difference between a slow burn getting to know someone, or bread crumbing anymore.
I also don’t know if people ever get some kind of connection after a month even without seeing each other. I’m human, so I do to a degree. But could he? Ugh I hate dating I never know what’s “right” and “wrong”
Advice welcomed! Thank you!
