My (45F) husband (54M) and I have been together 15½ years, married for 12½. Yet somehow, in all that time, this man has never missed on a gift.

Not once.

The fake-smile, forced enthusiasm era simply never happened.

The crazy part is that, more often than not, it’s something I never asked for, never hinted at, and probably didn’t even know existed.

He says his goal is to find something I didn’t know I needed in my life.

This year’s magic trick?

A crochet hook set… but not just ANY crochet hook set.

• Every hook size ✔️
• Interchangeable hooks ✔️
• Adorable travel case ✔️
• A tiny wrench (that scratches a very specific part of my brain) ✔️

But hold on, because this is where I audibly gasped and got a big case of the feelz 😁

There are two handles. One is comfy and ergonomic.

The other?

✨ Stitch counter
✨ Row counter
✨ AND IT LIGHTS UP ✨

That’s it. Game over. Man dropped that mic and walked away. 🎤😂

My favorite form of self care is sitting on my patio at night in my quiet neighborhood, a comfort show/movie playing as background noise, quietly crocheting anything. I don’t care what I’m making.. the rhythm, the learning, watching something slowly come together… that’s my peace.

And somehow, he saw that.. Not just that I crochet, but why.

I didn’t know I needed light-up crochet hooks with stitch and row counters, but apparently the man I married did 🥰

Sometimes love is a big, flashy grand gesture. Sometimes it’s a glowing crochet hook and a moment of pure joy.

And I’ll never get over how seen that makes me feel ❤️
