One of his friends said and I quote “Hot take-instead of putting your boyfriend down and hurting him why don’t you learn to help him”
My boyfriend keeps lying to me about using marijuana knowing I don’t like it and don’t want a partner doing it. It’s done nothing but bad in my experience with people around me using. When he’s on it he becomes angry, agitated, mean to me. He treats me terribly. And I can tell the difference in him when he’s using. And he quit eating for a day and a half so his friends yelled at me. Called me bad. A terrible person. All because I can’t stand a drug.
I love my boyfriend so very much. He asked me to help him quit. But nobody else in his corner will help. His friends keep feeding him the weed. That’s all they do when they hang out. I’m not even allowed to go hang out
because they don’t like me and can’t put down the weed for a few hours. I don’t wanna drive him from his friends because I know it’ll just break us up. He won’t give them up even though they treat him bad and use him. They don’t want him to change and better himself and I can see it.
Can he change from just me trying to help but his friends doing the opposite? Is it worth staying?
