This story is pretty lighthearted so don't take this too seriously! Just wanted to know thoughts and advice, if I should act on this…
So me(29F) and my bf(32M) managed to buy an apartment (against all odds) about a year and a few months ago.
As we've gotten used to living together, there is something that has massively changed, which is privacy.
We love being together and we are both chronically online, as in, we're always doing something on the computer like playing games together or watching movies or just chilling doing our own stuff. We also both work remotely so we are pretty much always in our shared office.
To try and sum things up, we previously lived in our parents' homes, and like many people, we got a lot of alone "sexy time" ifyk what I mean.
We are also very open with each other about this as it affects other non-alone sexy times and we find that communicating about this just makes it easier to know each-other's thresholds.
Going back to the shared office part tho; we both decided that the master suite would be our office, because we spend a lot of time in the office and we agreed that would be the most comfortable place for it. One thing to note is that even though it's our office, it has a built in wardrobe in the wall, which has floor to ceiling sliding doors that are mirrors…
Seeing that we didn't have a lot of money to furnish our house, we brought over our own desks and setups, which don't really fit that well in the space because their sizes are all over the place. And so the setup only works with our desks facing each other (we will eventually have a custom table for us both but for now this works).
And so, my setup faces the mirrored wall, and his setup faces mine… If you know where this is going, basically I can see what's on his screen if I stand up above my own screen (this rarely happens and I usually look away on purpose because I like him to have his privacy too, of course).
On my own desk though, there is my pc tower along with the monitors, and on top of my pc tower there is a small standing mirror that I use everyday for doing makeup at my desk and etc. BUT on the other day as I was putting it away on the tower, I kinda accidentally pointed it in a perfect angle where it was pointing to the mirrored wall, and I immediately saw boobs on his screen lmao!! I couldn't look away after that yk… morbid curiosity and all.
I did tell him that I accidentally saw that after a few hours and we even ended up laughed about it! As I said, we are pretty comfortable sharing those kinds of info with each other.
And so after that, it has happened a couple more times since, both accidentally and not accidentally when I was more… hormonal. I've learned that when I find out that he's secretly doing these things right next to me, it turns me on, that's the only part I've not shared with him…
And so, I wanna know what reddit thinks of this little secret of mine, is it weird af? Is it funny? I'm on the fence about if I should let him know about it, will it ruin it?
TL;DR:
I recently found out that I enjoy "secretly" watching my bf jerk it, after accidentally creating a mirror contraption that lets me see his screen (our desks face each other and he has a mirrored wall behind him, and I have a small mirror on my desk). He knows it's happened because I told him, but doesn't know that it turns me on or that it's happened non-accidentally a couple times. I'm unsure if telling him will ruin it, help !
