My wife has a history of volatility. When she is angry she loses control and says things she later claims to regret. I want to note that she stated many times that she wishes I were dead.
She recently made a specific premeditated threat, she told me that if I contest 50% custody of our 5-month-old child she will put arsenic in my drink.
I have documented evidence of her physical abuse including photos of my bruises. Additionally my previous physician officially noted me as a victim of domestic abuse in my medical records. While I am confident in my ability to defend myself physically I am deeply concerned about the "stealth" nature of this threat and what it means for my child’s future and well-being
