Over the last year we have been INUNDATED with ads for HIMS and Bluechew and the like and they almost always refer to resolving premature ejac. I have zero issues with this, in fact probably the opposite. But im just wondering if these ads exist because it is a really common issue and I just never knew?

  1. Not yet for me, but even with everything working ill still grab one of the rip off brands at a gas station to really level up

  2. These ads exist because it’s something people are extremely self-conscious about, not because there is some mega-prevalence of the issue.

  3. Some times I can’t hold it and others I can’t finish. Unfortunately the days she wants to go for an hour I can’t hold on longer than a couple minutes and the days she wants a quickie I’m ready to go all night.

I chalk it up mainly because we rarely have sex anymore and I watch too much porn because of the lack of sex.

  4. The way ads work these days, to be “inundated” would mean you or someone close to you has the issue, talks about it, or has searched for those products.

The scientific answer is 4-10% of men have consistent issues with PE. 10-30% of men experience it for some period in their lives, usually in periods of high stress.

  5. The amount of steroid abuse the youth are doing. Yes it’s becoming a problem.

  6. Its for people to use recreationally. Same as everyone with “anxiety” and “back pain” a decade ago with a medically card for weed.

  7. Cocaine and other stimulant use has EXPLODED in recent years, I suspect a large part of it is related to that.

  8. 6 out of 10 men have a problem with premature ejaculation. The other 4 don’t think it’s a problem.

  9. Man I don’t know, all I have is my personal anecdote, but I’m turning 50 and last year I was under a ton of stress and that turned into something like this. My fix was to destress but I’m 99% sure if I had talked to my doc he would have more than willingly put me on meds. I think for some it’s the only answer and for others it’s just one of many ways to solve the problem.

  10. I doubt it. I had one episode when I was a preteen sitting on the toilet. Never had anything that random happen again.

Ive ejaculated without having an orgasm more than once. But its usually far from premature.

I usually last way too long anyway.

  11. As the late, great Robert Schimmel said, “men don’t suffer from premature ejaculation, women do.”

  12. I had PE as a teenager, and I’ve been slowing working my way to the ED end of the spectrum as I got older. Now after obesity, sleep apnea, and testicular cancer I got pretty much nothing left.
