I’ve been to Vietnam and Thailand before. Mopeds were everywhere, especially in the cities in Vietnam. Traffic seemed to move a lot more freely, it was really busy but not gridlocked like UK roads often are.

In Bangkok (Thailand), there was a mix of cars and Mopeds. I used moped taxis as they weee a lot faster than cars in the traffic (as they could filter through in traffic lights).

why don’t more people in the UK buy a moped instead of a small car?

is it just that it would be too cold in the winter, or are there others reasons? I’m surprised that more people don’t put up with needing to wear a lot of warm clothes in the winter, for the time savings in traffic

also they were really fun to ride on, in my opinion seemed easier and more fun than driving a car – especially for short distances
