My partner is great most of the time but he does have a bad temper and always calls me names during arguments e.g “useless cnt”, “btch”,“slob” etc you get the gist, then after he’s calmed down will say he didn’t mean any of it. I know it’s awful and I should have left already but I just haven’t. He has never attacked my appearance until yesterday when he called me an “ugly sl*g” and this one just hit different and I don’t think I will be able to forgive this, it’s a comment that I know will eat me alive for the next few months and make me feel awful about myself, so I’m pretty sure I’m done.
The only issue is we have a toddler together, he makes most of the money and I’m also in a lot of debt. My credit score is terrible and I’m pretty sure no landlord will accept me if I try and move out, nor will I be able to save for a deposit. My mum has no room in her house for me and my son as much as I’m sure she’d want to help. I just don’t know what to do.
TL;DR: My boyfriend is verbally abusive but I don’t know if I’m financially able to leave.
