So, we have been married for 25 years and recently took a trip to Guatemala to visit some of my family. We hadn’t seeing my brother in 24 years, so the very next day he invited us over because he was hosting a friends and family Christmas party. My wife and I showed up at around 7:00 pm and everything was fine, then my wife starts drinking shots of tequila and mezcal and I asked her to be cautious and slow down but she brushed me off, she was having shots with my sister in law, nieces and nephews who are late 20s. Around 7:30 my wife was really drunk, so I was keeping an eye on her the whole time. A little context before I keep going, we have established rules for each other when it comes to dancing with someone else, she didn’t like it when I danced with other females so about 23 years ago we agree that our parents and siblings were always ok to dance with ( no brainer, safe zone ). So going back to the party, next thing I know is she asks my brother for a dance, he es 55 she is 49. And it didn’t bother me at all except that I notice that my brother ( who was also drinking but wasn’t that drunk) started holding her and looking at her on a very creepy way. I decided to let things go and convinced myself it was all in my head. I was having some fun with my nephews drinking a beer and singing along. Around 8:30 pm my wife kept asking for shots and my brother would comply but next thing I know they are holding hands, they were sitting next to each other holding hands. My mom, his wife and his friends and kids were there too hellooo!!!?!!! I started to feel very uncomfortable and asked my brother for another drink forme so that he had to get up and let my wife’s hand go, that’s exactly what happened but….. my wife got up and came next to where he was and grabbed his hand. I was very upset and confused but try to keep calm and composure. He was then rubbing his fingers on my wife’s hand and she would do the same, I had to act quick, ( was everyone else seeing these?? I am imagining?? But I did see my brother’s wife noticeable vigilant ) coincidentally my mom wanted to leave and I had the hardest time convincing my wife to go with me and drop her off, we finally took off and drop mom off and I asked her for some coffee to help my wife sober up, we spent about 90 minutes at my mom’s and then went back to the party. First thing my wife does is ask my brother for more shots and he sat down next to her and the holding hands thing stared again, I told them to smile for me for a picture and before I could snap the picture he let her hand go ( that to me proved he knew what he was doing). I didn’t know what hat they were talking but at a moment he grabs her head and hair with his two hands in a very affectionate gesture and tells her something to her ear. I’ve had enough and wanted to leave, before I can wrap things up and leave, he decides he wants to hear a different type of music and tells my wife to go downstairs, yes the two off them, alone. She was holding his hand and willingly going, but I told my brother that I had come to spent time with him and he literally physical pushed me away and asked me no to come along, I was waiting for my wife to react but she was probably too intoxicated. I didn’t let them go alone and came downstairs with them and sat my wife away from him but he was visibly very upset, like he couldn’t do whatever he had in mind. My wife finally agreed for us to leave and we went back to our hotel, the whole thing is killing me and I told my wife and she says that she doesn’t recall anything at all. Maybe some flashbacks but nothing more. Any feedback please. During the whole time, not even once she came to me and held my hand at was affectionate with me.
