TL;DR: Need information on what words people typically use during intimacy and intercourse when naming, describing, and asking for things.
I'm a F in my 30s, currently talking to a man I'm really into, and we seem to be headed in the direction of physical intimacy.
I know my body and my preferences very well, and I'm a big fan of requests, instructions, and feedback. I'm also somewhat of a yapper during sex. Not on purpose though; it's just when I'm really enjoying it, I often can't resist voicing my thoughts and feelings, and narrating the things I find particularly enjoyable in the moment. I also love to hear it: sometimes, a man taking about how much he is enjoying xyz, or just generally commenting / narrating / asking if I like it, turns me on more than the physical act itself lol.
The problem is, my previous partner and I were together for many years, and we developed our own lingo that made sense and worked great just for us. The even bigger problem is that it wasn't English. I've been with men who only spoke English in my younger years, back when I wasn't as bold and vocal. There wasn't a whole lot of verbal communication during sex, which didn't seem like a problem at the time – and as a result, my current knowledge of English sex talk is mostly limited to what I've heard in adult movies (back when I was still watching them from time to time) which, as we all know, is not real life.
By sex vocab I mean words and phrases that regular, mature people use in real-life sexual encounters, especially when it comes to newer partners, when you don't know each other's preferences very well – so it would have to be language that is widely acceptable, both polite and mild as well as spicier versions that are still respectful and unlikely to turn an average person right off. I'm in North America.
Examples of things I need vocabulary for: words for genitalia, including different parts thereof; naming positions and asking to switch between them; offering oral and asking for it; words that describe different kind of touch and hand/finger movement; words to use as compliments for the aspects of a man's appearance that you admire or that turn you on (things like his face, his build, facial hair, body hair etc. – and, of course, his beautiful penis lol);
AND SO ON AND SO FORTH – anything you can think of pertaining to real-life verbal communication during sex and intimacy, or when discussing it after the fact, specifically when interacting with men. I'd appreciate input from people of any gender, whether it be men sharing what they like to hear, or anybody else sharing what has worked in their experience.
