So there was a fly in my room and i picked up my towel and tried to whack it but in the process I whacked my light off the celing leaving to little wires hanging and i really need to reattach it before my parents get home or I'm screwed amd ill probably be in darkness until like feb. I've been trying for like 20mins but nothing is working. Is there anyway for me to reattach it by myself or will I need to get professional help.

You just need to switch the power off and rewire it. YouTube will take you through it step by step.
Just call a spark, don’t fuck with mains, even if you’ve turned the switch and MCB off.
Please remember to turn the power off before attempting to rewire this socket.
Buy new bulb holder, turn off power and reconnect. The bulb holder terminals are not polarised so it don’t matter which way the brown and blue are connected
I’d say you were more unscrewed
Edit: look up how to rewire a light fixture UK and make sure you turn the power off at the fuse board (at least for your lights).

If you’re posting on Reddit about this, don’t attempt DIY. Get a sparky in the new year, until then use a wall lamp
* Switch off lighting circuit at fuse box
* Unscrew the white base of the bulb holder, you’ll see the terminals.
* thread the cap you just unscrewed onto the wire coming from the ceiling
* attach the wires to the terminals in the black bit.
* screw the white bit back onto the bulb holder
* turn on the lighting circuit at the fuse box.
If there’s any bit of that that doesn’t seem straightforward, get someone to lend a hand.
You must know someone who is able to do this for you, it’s a simple task but must be done by someone who has the knowledge, it’s not worth risking things if they don’t know what they are doing.
Likely the top of the light fixture screws off and exposes 2 wire terminations for the electrical cable to be wired into.
It’s not important which goes where due to it being AC.
But safety is important so fuse/breaker should be tripped prior to any work on this.
Fuckin flys
It is really easy, but the way you have phrased the question and the possible negative outcome suggests to me that you need to hire a professional or ask your father in law.
Honestly be easier replacing the whole pendant
If you are nearby, I’ll pop over. Seriously. I need to find something to do before my head explodes…
If you don’t know what you’re doing, don’t try.
If you don’t isolate the circuit you could kill yourself, if you do but then wire it incorrectly you could start a fire.
Pretty straight forward, look up some videos and you’d be able to learn and do it in half an hour.
