This holiday, it's my first Christmas married to my husband. I have two teenage boys. I bought them all gifts and filled their stockings. The usual.
Before Christmas, I mentioned to my husband to fill my stocking because I would fill his.
Today, I received nothing.
I'm completely fine with this, and yet, my husband says this is his favourite time of year. I'm wondering where my husband's head is, at the same time? Wouldn't you want to spoil your wife or make her feel special?
He did this to my birthday a few months ago and I completely lost my cool, but you think he would learn by now.
All this to say, what would you do? How would you feel? I have this sinking feeling in my chest like he just doesn't care about me to have that kind of consideration.
It really hurts.
