When did you realize your wedding dress wouldn’t arrive on time?

Uh… never.
I think this is uncommon enough that you won’t get very many answers.
Do you have any documentation indicating that your dress would arrive by a specific date? If yes, it would be reasonable to request a full refund.
You can go in person to a local bridal shop to find a new dress – do your best to find something that fits off the rack. Nothing that needs major tailoring. If it needs hemming/minor tailoring, you can probably find a tailor who can do a rush order, but it will cost you.
found out *three weeks* before my wedding that the boutique “forgot to place the order” after I paid in full. cried in my car, rage-ate a croissant, then found a sample gown at another shop that somehow fit like it was made for me. didn’t get a refund until I left a very detailed Yelp review.
i see women online always having a b plan. my nail artist got recently married, she ordered two different dresses from two different places and both managed to arrive on time (altough she needed to do some alterations on the plan a dress)
