I’ve (22F) been dating my boyfriend(23M) for over 6 months now and he’s honestly great in so many ways but one thing that really bothers me is that he absolutely sucks at planning anything beyond the bare minimum. I'm a type A older daughter kind of girl, so I like to have schedules, details, logistics, etc. while he’s more chill, go-with-the-flow, ADHD energy. Which is fine, except when it comes to making plans, because it always ends up being on me.

Whenever we hang out, he’ll tell me what time to meet and that’s basically it. No thought about the location, distance/whether things are close together, how long we’ll be there, or if we’re about to show up somewhere 20 minutes before it closes. So I end up having to ask a bunch of follow-up questions and mentally plan everything anyway. It’s tiring always being the one who has to think through the logistics. For once, I just want him to give me a full plan without me having to prompt him through it step by step.

So I’m wondering if are there any resources that actually help teach this skill? Like a video, reel, YouTube channel, book, etc. Preferably created by a woman. I’m not trying to shame him or change his personality, I just want him to learn how to think a little more thoroughly when it comes to planning things.

TL;DR: I’m a Type A planner and my boyfriend is very go-with-the-flow, so I end up doing all the logistics when we make plans, which is exhausting. Looking for resources (videos/books, preferably by women) that help teach better planning skills.
