Me (F24) and my boyfriend (M24), have been together for almost three years. I broke up with him a few nights ago because he lied to me about a girl in his past. In the beginning of our relationship I had told him to unfollow girls on instagram whom he has had either sexual relations with or talking stages. I was uncomfortable with the fact that he did and that he would still like their photos months into us being in a relationship. He ended up doing what I asked, but for some reason never unfollowed this particular girl. He told me she was a girl from high school and I believed him. Now, almost three years into our relationship I asked him again about her and he said he’d matched with her before knowing me and they’d been on dates together and had even slept together more than once. And all the while, throughout the almost three years, he never unfollowed her and continued to like every post of hers. While he never texted her at all after us getting together, he still lied about who she was and still liked her photos. Is this considered in any way cheating?
