Its new years eve night, im in another city visiting friends and they brought me with their friends event. Its a very small group talking in a circle, and its been nearly 4 hours of me trying to input and engage with not much luck (not getting a lot of responses, and theyre talking topics i cant really add to).
I want to leave, maybe go for a walk in town or just head home without them. Im sitting here just on my phone tired and sad, but its 2 hours before midnight (the main point of any Nye event) and i cant figure out how to get up and leave without it being weird or my friends feeling like they need to leave early with me (id rather be on my own anyway, have a cry and get over it before I see anyone lol).
Any advice? We are literally all sitting here in a circle no music, not much way of leaving easily (have to walk through them).
